At the 4th VIVO Workshop 2019 at the German National Library of Science and Technology (TIB) the open source research information system VIVO and its implementation in various institutions was reported and discussed. On the one hand, technical solutions were presented and on the other hand, concepts such as profile sovereignty were discussed. The workshop included an interactive session in which various topics from the community were discussed and further developed. Presentations were held in German and English.
