Students from MCC win ComCase Competition

Three students from the Department of Media, Cognition and Communication were on the winning team in this year’s Communication Case Competition, which was organized by the Danish Association of Communication Professionals and Young Communicators and held at CBS January 29-30. The communication case competition is held annually and it pits ten teams of students against each other in a 24 hour battle to provide solutions to an international communication case. Three of the ten teams are chosen to pitch their solutions to the jury and audience and a winner is then declared.

The topic for this year’s case was sustainable branding and the case was supplied by Maersk Group. The competing students had to build a sustainable branding and communication platform in growth markets in Africa.

The winners were the five students on team C: Thomas R. Dünweber and Alex Berger, both from Cognition & Communication, and Mathias Nick Andersen from Communication and IT and Christina Vogelius and Stine Mølbak from RUC and CBS respectively. Congratulations to all five students.
